Brand new and exclusive to Aurora, Behind Closed Doors takes a “no holds barred” look at the lives of the disabled.
This show covers new ground as it examines all areas of disabled sexuality (both genders) and in particular how the sex industry caters to the needs of the disabled. The sex lives of disabled people have rarely been explored by the mainstream media and this series gives an informative, revealing and often controversial insight into this world.
In addition to the focus on the sex industry, the series also explores other areas of disabilities including depression, epilepsy and raises the issue of euthanasia and abortion in relation to birth defects. We interview disabled gay people, take an in depth look at transsexuals; we even look at self-defence for the disabled.
